Description

You will design, implement, test, and maintain software for promotional systems and backend reward features.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality software into production environments.
  • Build internal features and tools to improve team efficiency and delivery speed.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot, triage, and resolve root causes of production issues.
  • Lead code reviews and mentor engineers and interns to drive engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to make technical decisions and clarify requirements.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proven track record of building highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Strong understanding of various design approaches and architectural trade-offs.
  • Experience debugging and triaging system-wide production issues.
  • Proficiency in Agile software delivery and SCRUM methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within an enterprise environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and PostgreSQL.
  • Background working in a start-up environment.
