Description

You will design, implement, and maintain backend systems for promotional features and rewards, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy high-quality software for production environments.
• Build internal tools to improve team efficiency and delivery speed.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve root causes of production issues during on-call rotations.
• Lead code reviews and mentor engineers and interns on best practices.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to define technical requirements and solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and architectural trade-offs.
• Experience debugging and triaging system-wide production issues.
• Proficiency in Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS and PostgreSQL.
• Background working in a start-up environment.
