Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable microservices for an enterprise platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-availability microservices and technical proof of concepts.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define technical acceptance criteria for epics and stories.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise quality standards across the team.
• Own quality, test automation, continuous integration, and production operations.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve technical risks and project challenges.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend and server-side development.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with RESTful Web services and event-driven architecture using Kafka or Apache Pulsar.
• Expertise in relational databases, SQL, and Object-to-relational mapping (Hibernate).
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, functional testing, and automated regression.
• Proficiency with GIT, Maven, Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Python and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures, object-oriented design, and functional design.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Full-stack experience with JavaScript and Angular.
• Cloud provisioning with Terraform and container orchestration using Helm, Amazon EKS, or OpenShift.
