Description

Lead the development and maintenance of high-volume distributed search systems using Java and Solr.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement server-side Java solutions for distributed indexing and search.
• Optimize Solr/Lucene performance, including memory management and multithreading.
• Ensure secure data handling, encryption, and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
• Collaborate in agile teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in server-side Java, JDBC, and multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Solr and Lucene in high-volume environments.
• Experience with secure data handling and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with open source software and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and test-driven development.
