Design and implement enterprise-grade, secure, and scalable cloud-native architectures in Dallas, TX.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures and event-driven systems.
• Lead brown-field migration initiatives from on-prem legacy systems to public cloud environments.
• Create, publish, and socialize architecture and design documentation.
• Develop and manage REST and SOAP-based Web Service APIs within transaction processing environments.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software development experience with 3+ years as a Java Architect.
• Expertise in J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architecture design and implementation.
• Proficiency in UML, Design Patterns, and architecture frameworks.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
• Experience with REST and SOAP-based Web Services.
• Knowledge of performance engineering principles for scalable systems.
• Experience working within agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of TOGAF.
