Description

You will design and implement technical strategies and solution architectures that align with business and product visions.

Responsibilities

• Define technology vision and strategy by working with business, product, and engineering leadership.
• Own architecture deliverables including both solution and enterprise architecture artefacts.
• Lead the development and implementation of Future State Architecture for the product.
• Ensure architecture governance practices align with tech, data, cloud, and security strategies.
• Coordinate solution design across geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.
• Produce written and verbal documentation to transition solutions to BAU ownership.

Required Skills

• 12-15 years of experience in technical and solution architecture.
• Proven experience working with Enterprise Architecture and translating it into solution designs.
• Strong background in API design and microservices architectures.
• Experience delivering solutions across the full project lifecycle with mixed-shore resources.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native product development and API-based integration.
• Ability to decompose monolithic solutions and manage technical debt.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for interrogating codebases and ascertaining behaviour.
• Experience with Spring and Kong.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Consultancy or customer-facing experience within a software vendor or enterprise-scale services environment.
• Financial Services domain knowledge, specifically regarding market dynamics like Risk, Cost, and Customer.
• Track record of successful refactoring and technical debt remediation projects.
