Description

Define the technical direction for complex systems and lead solution architecture initiatives.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create solution architecture and high-level design documents, decomposing solutions into domains.
• Design APIs and translate business requirements into technical specifications, creating epics and stories for development teams.
• Manage the implementation team throughout the solution development lifecycle.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and approaches.
• Develop contract documents for data team microservice designs, including REST-based APIs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of solution architecture experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring and Springboot.
• Deep experience with microservice design and REST APIs.
• Expertise in Agile/Lean development methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes containerization tools.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Proficiency with Kafka message queues.
• Understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools.
