Description

Design and lead the architecture, implementation, and delivery of complex Java-based solutions and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create solution architecture and high-level design documents, decomposing solutions into domains and defining API contracts.
• Translate business requirements into technical epics and stories, managing the implementation team through agile delivery.
• Collaborate with product and engineering managers to align solution design with the product roadmap.
• Present technical proposals to stakeholders and conduct POCs to evaluate new technologies.
• Promote inner sourcing and reuse of components across multiple projects.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of solution architecture experience with a master understanding of software design principles and architecture patterns.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Springboot for procedural and object-oriented development.
• Experience designing REST-based microservice APIs.
• Strong experience with AWS services.
• Knowledge of containerization tools including RedHat OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB).
• Understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools.
• Proven record in agile/lean development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or related field.
• Experience presenting complex technical proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
