Description

You will drive implementation projects within the Capital Markets and FX domains as a hands-on architect.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solution plans, including cost estimation and delivery approaches.
• Lead project streams by mentoring teams and overseeing technical deliverables.
• Write and review code to support the team and ensure architectural integrity.
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, business leaders, and subject matter experts.
• Facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions to multi-disciplinary teams.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in system and solution design.
• Deep expertise in Capital Markets and FX environments.
• Proficiency in Java and JEE.
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST).
• Strong database development skills in both SQL and NoSQL.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers or integration platforms such as Tibco, WebMethods, IBM AppConnect, Service Mix, ActiveMQ, or Kafka.
• Practical knowledge of reactive programming, including RxJava or event-driven principles.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, TOGAF, ArchiMate, or COBIT.
• Proficiency in an additional programming language.
