Description

You will lead application development, modernization, and migration projects by translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, offer design options, and build prototypes.
• Develop and test applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
• Manage the full SDLC, including Git branching, CI/CD pipeline setup, and post-production activities.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications and user guides.
• Automate manual tasks through scripting to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and RESTful web services.
• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks including React, jQuery, and JS Promise.
• 4+ years of experience with Node/Application.js.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, AJAX, XML, and JSON.
• Strong experience with Tomcat and Maven integration in Spring applications.
• Experience managing MySQL or Oracle databases, including SQL DDL/DML and JPA integration.
• Expertise in Git for branching, merging, and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Knowledge of shell and bash scripting.
• Experience creating and maintaining certificates and certificate chains.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience (or 10+ years of on-the-job experience).
• Must be a US Citizen and able to work on an EST schedule.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Selenium or other front-end testing frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and multi-container orchestration software.
• Proficiency in database analysis, mapping, and design.
