Engineer scalable backend solutions and microservices using Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs for distributed applications.
• Integrate and manage interactions with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Solve complex technical problems independently within the application domain.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Java development.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in designing distributed applications.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Strong capability in REST API development.
• Familiarity with retail domain concepts such as POS systems or merchandising workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
