Description

Lead the planning, design, development, and deployment of enterprise Java applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for all Java-based platform and application matters.
• Collaborate with business SMEs, stakeholders, and delivery teams to define requirements and prioritize initiatives.
• Design and develop maintainable Java solutions that leverage custom development features.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to Scrum teams on software design and problem-solving.
• Define and apply best practices for application and platform architecture updates.

Required Skills

• 12-14 years of IT design and development experience.
• Minimum 3 years specifically architecting and designing applications.
• Minimum 5 years leveraging various architectural frameworks to build applications.
• Deep understanding of front-end and back-end technologies within the Java landscape.
• Proficiency with multiple design patterns and architectures.
• Strong experience with Java and Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in scripting, business rules, and data management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in coaching and supporting technology professionals.
