Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Solutions Architect with 15+ years of hands-on experience in designing and delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud technologies, distributed systems, and modern software architecture.

The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, product managers, and technical leadership to define scalable solutions, establish architecture standards, and guide development teams through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

·  Design and define scalable, secure, highly available enterprise application architectures using Java and Spring Boot.

·  Lead architecture and technical design for complex microservices and distributed applications.

·  Define application, integration, data, security, and deployment architecture.

·  Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering and development teams.

·  Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.

·  Evaluate existing systems and recommend modernization, migration, and optimization strategies.

·  Design and implement RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging, and system integrations.

·  Drive cloud-native architecture and application modernization initiatives using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

·  Establish architecture standards, design patterns, coding practices, and technology roadmaps.

·  Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, and observability.

·  Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, scalability, reliability, availability, security, and maintainability.

·  Conduct architecture reviews, code/design reviews, and technical assessments.

·  Identify technical risks and provide appropriate mitigation strategies.

·  Mentor senior developers, technical leads, and engineering teams.

·  Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  Required Skills & Experience

·  15+ years of software engineering experience, with significant experience in Java-based enterprise applications.

·  Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

·  Extensive experience designing microservices and distributed systems.

·  Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API gateways, authentication/authorization, and integration patterns.

·  Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.

·  Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, JVM, performance tuning, and design patterns.

·  Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

·  Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

·  Experience with messaging/event-streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.

·  Strong knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

·  Experience with enterprise security, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure application development.

·  Strong understanding of architecture patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and enterprise integration patterns.

·  Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
