Description

You will design and implement technical architectures to support product delivery and feature teams in Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and conceptual architectures into logical and physical solution designs.
• Convert functional stories into technical stories through Level 2 grooming and guide teams through Level 3 development grooming.
• Lead development within a trunk-based model, overseeing unit testing, functional test automation, and automated build/deploy pipelines.
• Present proposed architectural changes to the architecture governance board for formal approval.
• Monitor and enforce team delivery metrics, specifically code coverage and test automation percentages.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software architecture and design.
• Hands-on experience with Java and the Spring framework.
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing event-driven microservices architectures.
• Experience designing cloud-native applications for OpenShift PaaS.
• Proficiency with N-tier architecture (MVC, JEE) and ORM technologies.
• Experience with continuous integration tools including Jenkins, JUnit, and Artifactory.
• Experience using Agile development and management tools such as Version One.
• Knowledge of Unix and Unix Shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Rules Management Systems like Drools or IBM Lombardi.
