Description

Design and implement technical solutions by translating business and conceptual architectures into logical and physical designs for feature teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop logical and physical solution architectures to support product delivery.
• Own the grooming of functional stories into technical stories and guide teams through Level 3 development story grooming.
• Design cloud-native applications targeted to OpenShift PaaS using event-driven microservices.
• Manage development within a Trunk-based Development model, including unit testing and automated build/deploy pipelines.
• Present architectural changes to the architecture governance board for approval and ensure teams meet code coverage metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in Java and the Spring/Spring Boot framework.
• Proven experience designing and implementing event-driven microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with N-tier Architecture (MVC, JEE) and ORM technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, JUnit, and Artifactory.
• Knowledge of Agile development and management tools like Version One.
• Ability to manage automated build/deploy pipelines and functional test automation.
• Basic Unix knowledge and Unix Shell scripting experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rules Management Systems such as Drools or IBM Lombardi.
• Domain experience in the Travel industry.
