Description

You will design and develop scalable solutions using Java and Apache Spark within a cross-functional Agile team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed impact analysis for code changes, mapping dependencies across application components.
• Write modular, testable code adhering to SOLID principles and industry-standard design patterns.
• Develop and maintain high-quality unit tests using JUnit to ensure comprehensive code coverage.
• Translate user stories into technical tasks and drive timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce clean architecture and best engineering practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of development experience with hands-on expertise in Java and Apache Spark.
• Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with RDBMS.
• Practical knowledge of Kafka for messaging and Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
