Description

You will develop and maintain scalable, high-resiliency systems using Java and Spark.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy micro-services using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Develop data processing workflows within Big Data ecosystems.
• Manage the full software development life cycle using Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Write and execute automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Collaborate within an Agile development environment to deliver software updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful services.
• Hands-on work with Apache Hadoop, HBase, Spark, and Hive.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle.
• Experience with Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Competency in testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake and Angular.
• Background in the securities or financial services industry.
