Description

You will build and maintain scalable, high-resiliency systems using Java and Spark, owning the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Develop data processing workflows within Big Data ecosystems.
• Manage the release pipeline using Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Write and execute automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment to deliver software updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Hadoop, HBase, Spark, and Hive.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful services.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically Oracle.
• Proficiency with Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Competency in testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake and Angular.
• Background in the securities or financial services industry.
