Description

You will lead a development team focused on Spark and Java-based data processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development team in building and maintaining Spark applications.
• Design and implement ETL processes and data wrangling workflows using Java.
• Develop, deploy, and administer Java-based microservices and web services.
• Manage application deployment and monitoring within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java and Spark.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Web Services, including REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting and Control-M.
• Competency with Kubernetes, Cloud environments, and Tomcat.
• Experience using GIT, Bitbucket, and Jira.
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with XML and data migration processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ab Initio, ETL & DPL, and Hadoop.
• Knowledge of public cloud adoption and API development.
