Description

You will develop and maintain large-scale data platforms and replication services.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and fix bugs in Spark jobs for the Data Replication Service.
• Debug and resolve issues within the SparkCp library.
• Maintain the CDH Migration Tool by troubleshooting customer-reported issues.
• Implement monitoring and alerting improvements across core data tools.
• Manage data onboarding tasks and address user requests as they arise.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java/J2EE technologies.
• 6+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years focused on large-scale data platforms.
• Expertise in Apache Spark and Core Java.
• Experience with Parquet, Avro, Hive, and Iceberg.
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree.
