Description

Lead data processing efforts using Java and Spark APIs, owning the development and optimization of data pipelines and database operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Spark development APIs with Java.
• Implement data connectivity using JDBC standards.
• Execute and manage Spark jobs within AWS EMR environments.
• Manage and optimize database operations using PostgreSQL.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with Spark APIs.
• Proficiency with JDBC for database connectivity.
• Experience running Spark workloads on Amazon EMR.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database management.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any field of study.
