Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and support of Risk Modernization applications, specifically focusing on Market Data Shock and Scenario generation.

Responsibilities

• Design and re-engineer applications for market risk and data aggregation.
• Act as a technical leader to coordinate development and software design phases.
• Migrate large-scale, complex projects from on-premise environments to Cloud or hybrid architectures.
• Develop, code, test, and debug new software or significant improvements to existing systems.
• Collaborate with internal application development teams and various business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of application development experience using Java and the Spring Framework.
• 5+ years of experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Java/Scala.
• 5+ years optimizing Big Data applications using Java/Scala and Spark on Cloudera/HDP.
• Experience designing and developing micro-service architectures using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with AWS or Azure cloud providers.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building data pipelines on AWS/Azure and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Market Risk, Capital Markets, or Banking.
