Description

Lead the design, implementation, and support of Risk Modernization applications, focusing on Market Data Shock and Scenario generation. This role requires technical leadership to coordinate development phases and migrate large-scale projects from on-premise to cloud architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and re-engineer applications for market risk and data aggregation.
• Lead technical coordination for software design and development phases.
• Migrate complex legacy systems to Cloud or hybrid architectures.
• Develop, code, test, and debug significant software improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of application development using Java and Spring Framework.
• 5+ years of experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Java/Scala.
• 5+ years optimizing Big Data applications using Spark on Cloudera/HDP.
• Experience designing micro-service architectures with Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with AWS or Azure cloud providers.
• Hands-on containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building data pipelines on AWS/Azure and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Market Risk, Capital Markets, or Banking.
