Description

You will integrate machine learning models into Java-based backend services and manage the end-to-end ML lifecycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Integrate batch and real-time ML models into Java backend systems and APIs.
• Optimize and automate AI/ML workflows using MLOps best practices.
• Monitor model performance, versioning, and rollbacks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and Product Engineering teams for seamless deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Data.
• 2+ years of professional experience working on AI/ML projects.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and asynchronous messaging via Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Practical experience integrating AI/ML models into Java services or calling external endpoints via REST/gRPC.
• Knowledge of the ML lifecycle including training, validation, inference, monitoring, and retraining.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, or ONNX.
• Experience with data formats such as JSON, Parquet, Avro, and CSV.
• Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis) database systems.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, or Seldon.
• Prior experience in domain-specific implementations like fraud detection, recommendation systems, or NLP chatbots.
