Description

Design and build RESTful and event-driven microservices for banking workflows including payments, account management, transaction processing, and reporting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data access and persistence layers using MongoDB, ensuring performance and data integrity at scale.
• Integrate services across cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), leveraging managed services such as API Gateways, message queues, and secret stores.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Adhere to banking-grade standards covering security, audit logging, data residency, and regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, BCBS 239).
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support knowledge transfer within the team.

Required Skills

• Java 21 with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Micro Services architecture.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB for data persistence.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Owners and QA Engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking or financial services domains.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture patterns.
