Description

Design and lead implementation of significant capabilities in large-scale production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the release pipeline, ensuring high availability, low latency, and security.
• Decompose complex designs into maintainable implementations and guide less experienced engineers.
• Define test suites and instrumentation to ensure latency and availability targets are met.
• Evaluate potential attack surfaces and prioritize closure of open vulnerabilities.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify domain-level problems and prescribe mitigations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with Cloud providers (Azure and AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with data management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and integration technologies (Kafka, REST, GraphQL).
• Proficiency in object-oriented design and Agile methodologies (SCRUM).
• Ability to optimize solutions for performance, resiliency, and reliability.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience in the Airline Industry.
