Description

You will own the development and deployment of microservices in a remote, project-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, maintainable backend solutions and microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
• Integrate services with databases and manage streaming systems like Kafka.
• Execute unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock to meet design criteria.
• Identify, debug, and resolve software issues throughout the full SDLC.
• Document microservices and communicate technical requirements with clients and developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with GIT, Swagger, PCF, and Rabbit MQ.
• Experience with Kafka streaming systems.
• Ability to write unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
• Working knowledge of JSON and YML markup languages.
• Experience using quality and security scan tools including Sonar, Fortify, and WebInspect.
• Practical understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Degree in any field of study.
