Description

You will design, code, and test software applications within a service-oriented architecture to meet business requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop web application features involving UI, services, and databases.
• Collaborate with Lead Software Engineers on technical and architectural direction.
• Research and deliver solutions aligned with application development strategies.
• Define system requirements through interaction with internal users.
• Maintain documentation for software installation and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience in highly regulated environments like financial services.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring frameworks, including Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services (REST and SOAP).
• Practical knowledge of microservices and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (API Gateway, IAM, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Aurora, Glue, Docker, and EKS).
• Ability to debug Java code and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency with Maven and Bitbucket.
• Capability to write complex queries and debug stored procedures in MS SQL, Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with Unit Testing and Continuous Integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science.
