Description

You will develop and support Java applications, handling features, production support, and debugging across Java and UI layers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop features and maintain production support for Java applications.
• Debug Java and UI layers to trace and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Contribute to iterative development cycles within an Agile framework.

Required Skills

• 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience as a Java developer.
• Strong working knowledge of Java, JDK 1.8, MVC, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Proficiency with Java development tools such as Eclipse and Spring Tool Suite.
• Experience with API testing tools like Soap UI and Postman.
• Experience with WebLogic application server.
• Familiarity with Agile methods (user stories, CI/CD, TDD).
• Experience with ticket management tools like JIRA.
• Customer-facing experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Life Insurance domain requirements.
