Description

Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka in Phoenix, AZ.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy RESTful web services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka for messaging.
• Manage and interact with relational databases using SQL.
• Maintain and evolve existing Java-based backend systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java.
• Deep expertise in the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and event-driven design.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management.
• Experience building and consuming REST web services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.
