Description

Lead technical direction and architecture for unified commerce engines serving web, mobile, and physical stores.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high and low-level architectures for POS products and commerce engines.
• Own the full development lifecycle using a TDD approach, including unit, contract, API, UI, and performance testing.
• Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines using Bamboo or similar tools.
• Manage data synchronization and integration implementations.
• Troubleshoot and triage system issues using monitoring tools to set up dashboards and alerts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in POS products.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and Gradle.
• Hands-on experience with Postgres and data integration tools.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Strong systems engineering knowledge, including hardware and networking architecture.
• Experience with Angular, React, or Ionic Framework for mobile/web interfaces.
• Competency with monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building unified commerce engines for web, mobile apps, and retail stores.
