Description

You will lead the design and development of Java and database components within established technical frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java and database components following architect-defined frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance to the development team and own design and code implementation.
• Ensure code meets platform standards through appropriate testing.
• Communicate project status clearly to management and project teams.
• Identify and implement improvements for application stability, scalability, and user experience.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Extensive experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Proven expertise in Microservices architecture and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with database systems such as Oracle or MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and its implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Azure cloud computing.
• Proficiency in JUnit and Spring Test.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux shell scripting, and message queues.
• Experience with PCF (Cloud Foundry).
• Background in investment management, hedge fund, or private equity.
