Description

Lead the design and development of Java-based microservices and database components, providing technical guidance to the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java and database components within architect-defined frameworks.
• Own design and code implementation while providing technical guidance to developers.
• Ensure code quality and platform standards through rigorous testing.
• Identify and implement improvements for application stability, scalability, and user experience.
• Communicate project status and technical decisions clearly to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Extensive expertise with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong proficiency with Oracle or MS SQL Server databases.
• Experience with Azure cloud computing.
• Proficiency in JUnit and Spring Test.
• Knowledge of Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux shell scripting, and message queues.
• Experience with PCF (Cloud Foundry).
