Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications while optimizing database performance using SQL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable Java applications and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval.
• Utilize Cerner Command Language (CCL) for healthcare system workflows and reporting.
• Analyze system issues, debug components, and implement performance tuning solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure best coding practices.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and support the SDLC lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong Java programming proficiency.
• Expertise in SQL, including PL/SQL and T-SQL for database design and optimization.
• Proven experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL) in healthcare ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and debugging techniques.
• Experience with version control tools like Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and development tools.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Additional programming languages (Python or C++) or frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
