Description

You will own production support, incident response, and application reliability for PPT products.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 24/7 support and manage incident handling, problem management, and bug fixes.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across Unix, Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows environments.
• Design, develop, and deploy multi-tiered enterprise applications using Java and J2EE.
• Create dashboards and alerts using Grafana and Splunk to monitor logs and visualize metrics.
• Provide architectural guidance to improve resiliency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production support and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, and Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, JDBC, JNDI, or IBM MQ Series.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Experience with Web services including SOAP and REST.
• Working knowledge of Oracle or MySQL databases.
• Ability to participate in Agile cycles including analysis, design, and unit testing.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Mobile SDK languages.
