Job Description:- 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for Java-based applications.
• Monitor application health and respond to production incidents within defined SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
• Analyze application logs, identify defects, and coordinate with development teams for fixes.
• Support application deployments, releases, and production migrations.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Work with Linux/Unix environments to monitor and manage application servers.
• Maintain production documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in on-call support and incident management rotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Java EE applications.
• Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, or WebSphere application servers.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
• Understanding of application monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or ELK.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and change management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or PowerShell).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java application support or Java development with production support.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a 24x7 production environment
