Description

You will own Level 2 and Level 3 production support for Java-based enterprise applications, ensuring stability and rapid incident resolution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application health and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and performance issues using logs and metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions to avoid recurrence.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and support application deployments and releases.
• Maintain production documentation, runbooks, and participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java application support or development with production support.
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Java EE applications.
• Solid knowledge of SQL (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL) for troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix commands, shell scripting, and application server management (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, or WebSphere).
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and application monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or ELK).
• Understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, and change management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
