Description

You will own the stability and performance of Java-based applications, focusing on incident resolution, automation, and operational excellence.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve application issues through code debugging and log analysis to identify defects and trends.
• Manage incidents and communicate effectively with users, application owners, and senior stakeholders.
• Improve application stability by observing failure patterns and advising on permanent fixes.
• Build and maintain run books to minimize operational errors and increase team fungibility.
• Develop reports to track application health and service performance statistics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software support or engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in code debugging and log analysis.
• Experience managing incidents and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to identify processes for automation and work with engineering teams to implement them.
• Experience participating in change management processes to mitigate production risk.
• Willingness to learn and troubleshoot proprietary technologies not found in the public marketplace.
• Any Graduate degree.
