Description

You will support and enhance Java-based applications, owning development priorities, system design, and production troubleshooting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable Java code and set development priorities.
• Analyze user requirements to envision system features and functionality.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, recommending solutions by comparing custom development trade-offs.
• Troubleshoot development and production issues across various environments.
• Ensure effective design, development, validation, and support activities aligned with architecture requirements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of relevant Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, J2EE, and Spring.
• Experience with SQL databases, including schema design and complex queries.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Familiarity with database interactions using JDBC and Hibernate.
• Ability to analyze requirements and apply design patterns within the SDLC.

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and team leading capabilities.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
