Description

Design and develop complex Java/J2EE applications while refactoring legacy WebLogic/WebSphere systems for cloud readiness on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Java/J2EE applications using strong object-oriented principles.
• Build and consume web services using SOAP and REST API protocols.
• Refactor existing WebLogic and WebSphere applications for AWS cloud migration.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, working independently or within a team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE applications.
• 8+ years of application development experience.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, EJB, WebServices, JSP, JDBC, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases (DB2 or Oracle preferred) and SQL query writing.
• Experience with database stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Familiarity with WebLogic and WebSphere platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience refactoring on-premise middleware for cloud environments.
