Description

You will lead a Scrum team of 5+ developers as a hands-on technical architect, driving the design, development, and testing of scalable microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Scrum team, providing technical mentorship and acting as Scrum Master when required.
• Design and build secure, reusable APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture and establish DevSecOps practices within the API development lifecycle.
• Develop high-performance code capable of maintaining consistent response times under heavy load.
• Build frameworks and process automation to improve the developer experience.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years in Java backend development.
• 8+ years of experience in API and microservices development.
• 5+ years of experience as a technical lead for a Scrum team.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Gradle.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud services, preferably AWS.
• 6+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum models.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database integrations.
• Proficiency with REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as IBM MQ and NATS.
• Knowledge of API security including OIDC and OAuth2.0.
• Experience designing API specifications using RAML, YAML, or Swagger.
• Strong unit testing skills using frameworks like JUnit.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing API proxies and REST APIs using API Management platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting DevSecOps workflows.
