Good to Have Skills: SWT, JFace, JPQL, CriteriaBuilder, Maven, Eclipse Tycho, CI/CD pipelines, JVM tuning, Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in regulated environments such as Forensics or LIMS systems. Strong collaboration skills for distributed delivery teams across multiple locations. Knowledge of enterprise software architecture, object-oriented development, clean code principles, and design patterns.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own and contribute to architecture and development of enterprise Java applications for forensic systems.
• Provide technical guidance on design and implementation across distributed development teams.
• Support modernisation and evolution of legacy forensic systems to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Develop enterprise applications across client and server components using modern Java technologies.
• Define software architecture for enterprise applications applying object-oriented design and patterns.
• Design and optimise backend services and data models for high-performance data-intensive systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage containerised environments for automated deployment.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, performance profiling, and JVM optimisation best practices.
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps and architecture stakeholders across multiple delivery centres.
• Share knowledge and support capability development across nearshore and offshore development teams.

Experience Required: Extensive experience (10+ years) in enterprise Java development and DevOps practices. Proven experience in architecture and hands-on development. Experience working in regulated or complex operational environments.

Education: Bachelor's in Engineering or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
