Description

You will own the architecture and development of enterprise Java applications for forensic systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define software architecture and provide technical guidance for distributed development teams.
• Develop enterprise applications using modern Java technologies, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
• Design and optimize backend services and data models for high-performance, data-intensive systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized environments for automated deployment.
• Ensure code quality through testing, performance profiling, and JVM optimization best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise Java development.
• Proficiency in Java, Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, and SWT/JFace.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with WildFly, Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Proven track record in system architecture and hands-on development.
• Experience working in regulated environments (Forensics or LIMS).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Maven, Eclipse Tycho, and CI/CD pipeline optimization.
• Familiarity with JVM tuning and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
