Description

Lead the development of Java and Spring Boot microservices, designing REST APIs and ensuring reliable service behavior.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own integration patterns across services using MongoDB for data persistence and Kafka for event-driven communication.
• Collaborate with frontend teams on ReactJS integration points, API contracts, and end-to-end feature delivery.
• Drive engineering best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability across services and APIs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, including code reviews, design reviews, and delivery planning in Agile teams.
• Implement CI/CD pipeline ownership and release automation using Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 8-11 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a Java Tech Lead or technical lead capacity.
• Java and Spring Boot for building production-grade backend services.
• Microservices architecture and REST API design/implementation.
• MongoDB for schema design, querying, and data modeling.
• Kafka for event streaming and asynchronous workflows.
• ReactJS for frontend integration and working knowledge of API consumption patterns.
• Agile delivery practices.

Preferred Skills

• Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline ownership and release automation.
• Banking/Financial Services experience.
