Description

You will lead technical direction and development for Java-based microservices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Java 8 or above.
• Design and implement SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle within agile methodologies.
• Port existing functionality to new microservice architectures.
• Write unit tests and integrate code into continuous integration pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Java and Object Oriented Programming.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, JDBC, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Practical experience with SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Unix environments.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience with microservice technologies and architecture.
• Background in agile software development processes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
