Description

Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Java-based systems and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design microservices at the application and database levels.
• Design, develop, and debug software programs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Deliver REST web services following industry best practices.
• Investigate application issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure the quality of technical and application architecture across the organization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall technical experience.
• 6 to 12 years of experience working with Java.
• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and Java 11.
• Experience with REST web services, ORM/JPA, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, Postman, and Swagger.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud environments and Spring Data.
• Working knowledge of Tomcat, EAP application servers, and database servers.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
