Description

You will own the design and development of scalable Java architectures while leading engineering teams through the full project lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java-based solutions using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Lead and mentor development teams, defining technical standards, best practices, and conducting code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document architectural decisions, and mitigate technical risks.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including cloud services (Azure/AWS), messaging systems (Kafka), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong proficiency with RDMS (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BAMOE/Drools rule engine.
• Knowledge of Open Telemetry.
