Description

Lead technical development and release efforts for Java/JEE-based applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement application logic using J2EE technologies, JMS, and ORM tools.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for relational databases.
• Write, execute, and debug JUnit test cases to ensure code quality.
• Manage build processes and lifecycle concepts using Maven.
• Debug and resolve issues within the JBoss application server suite.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of total IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Java coding.
• Deep knowledge of Core Java: OOP, Collections API, Exception Handling, and Multi-threading.
• 5+ years experience with ORM tools, specifically Spring Hibernate and JPA.
• Strong understanding of JEE architecture, Java Server Pages, and Java Servlets.
• Experience with JAXB, JAX-WS, and EJB.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSD, XSLT, and XPath.
• Experience with JSF and the JBoss application server suite.
• 1+ year of experience with Maven, including POM and build plugins.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading technical efforts for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong background in relational database design and optimization.
