Description

You will lead a team of developers and own the full product lifecycle for complex applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a development team and own the full product lifecycle from concept to production deployment.
• Design solutions for complex business problems and implement server-side logic.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and contribute individual code.
• Develop high-performance, low-latency, and scalable REST APIs and microservices.
• Create design documents, contribute to architectural decisions, and design UML artifacts.
• Collaborate with PMs to identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a lead in modern Java-based development.
• Expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring 5, and WebFlux for reactive programming.
• Hands-on experience with microservices design patterns and RESTful web services.
• Experience with non-relational databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Proven experience in cloud-based projects using AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with distributed messaging systems such as Kafka, Avro, Schema Registry, AWS SQS, or SNS.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, or VSTS.
• Experience using observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, or CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to design and implement test strategies for complex applications.

Preferred Skills

• VTEX certification.
• Experience with eCommerce projects and working knowledge of CommerceTools.
