Description

You will lead the development of Java-based modules and applications while collaborating with Product Management, Technology, and Operations to define technical specifications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of application modules and set timelines to meet project goals.
• Troubleshoot active production issues and coordinate with team members to deploy fixes and patches.
• Create and maintain detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Define and document support procedures and train QA and Operations staff on system functionality.
• Collaborate with external clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, and testing of Java and J2EE applications with Spring.
• Deep expertise in Spring Framework, including Spring MVC, IOC, AOP, and Spring JDBC.
• Experience implementing Java EE design patterns such as MVC, Singleton, Session Facade, DAO, DTO, and Business Delegate.
• Proficiency in Web Services development using SOAP, JAWS-WS, and WSDL.
• Strong RDBMS knowledge with experience using DB2, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools including Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and React.
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, specifically Agile and Scrum.
• Knowledge of static code analysis tools like CheckStyle, PMD, or SonarQube and JUnit testing frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ISO 20022 payment formats.
• Background developing and supporting large-scale, mission-critical transaction processing applications.
